Research on seismic characterization of subsurface reservoir and stress conditions is ongoing within the Geoscience Department at The University of Tulsa. MSc. Graduate students Kelley Davison, Cameron Graham, Leonardo Landivar and Mengxiu Wang will present summaries of their ongoing research towards their graduate degrees. Study area is the STACK play within the Anadarko Basin and includes PP & PS data showing azimuthal anisotropy characteristics manifested by PP AVAZ, shear wave birefringence characterization and techniques for advanced anisotropic imaging.
